East End Food's reaches over £200M turnover

Made in the Midlands member East End Foods has surged past the £200m mark on their annual turnover.

The West Bromwich based company has posted a turnover of £205.1m for the twelve months, an all-time high for the business. 

The accounts, filed under East End Foods plc also show its pre-tax profits jumped from £8.8m to £15.2m over the same period.

East End Foods which was founded more than four decades ago, has in excess of 1,200 product lines including spices, lentils, rice, oils and table sauces.

A statement signed off by the board said:

"The business has continued to grow over the years and the directors expect this to continue.

"The directors aim to maintain management policies which have resulted in the company's substantial growth in recent years.

"They consider the growth to continue through greater efficiency and new product development."

East End Foods was established by the Wouhra brothers; Trilok, Tony Deep, Jason, David and Don.
